One of my favorite things when perusing other blogs is just seeing what their “must-have” items are, so I thought I would start a segment of my own on what I am loving at the moment. If you know me at all, I don’t have to say it, but I LOVE Fall!! Everything about it…the outfits, the smells, the weather…and although it isn’t quite here yet (if you live in Texas you understand that Fall doesn’t even really start till mid-October), I am *patiently* waiting for the coming days where the temps dip low enough for me to throw on my skinny jeans, boots, and a cute/casual/comfy top. So here is my first try at my favorite things, I will try to do this every week…if you like it, let me know, if you have anything else you would like to see…let me know that too!
1.Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation – Go watch my girl Jaclyn Hill on YouTube…you will be amazed, not only at how crazy beautiful she is, but she has the.best.makeup tips EVER!! She recommended this make-up as a cheaper alternative to some of the name brand options and I LOVE it! I have always used Mac or Clinique in the past and this works just as well for me at half the price and does great for my oily skin.
2.Fall scents…really any brand will do…candles, Scentsy, all of it! I do love my Scentsy’s, but have also found that the new Glade Pumpkin Spice Wax Melts do a great job at filling my home and are a quick alternative to ordering online, but there are certain Scentsy fragrances I just can’t live without so alternating works best for this girl.
3. Fall colors & trends…I love neutrals, earth tones, and all of the comfy/cute styles that I get to wear when Fall comes around. I live in skinny jeans, boots, and scarves. Oh, I can’t wait!
4. Spark. I am NOT an Advocare distributor or advisor, but this is how I start my day…EVERY.DAY. No coffee, no cokes, just Spark. It gets me going and is a great alternative to coffee & sodas before my morning workout. Get some, it’s awesome!
5. Steve Madden “Intyce” Boots…I am pretty sure these are going to be my go-to boots this season. I don’t have them YET, but am hoping to make it to San Antonio this week to finally get them in my closet. I workout…don’t love that part, but learning to live with my “athletic calfs”…at least that is what I like to tell myself, so these seem to have one of the best calf-circumference for girls like me…and they are cute…and tall which is what I am looking for.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone! I will be shooting bridals in Austin this weekend and enjoying our daughter’s first soccer game. What do you have planned?
